American Home Remodeling is proud to be a Home Depot Trusted Service Provider for specialty home remodeling projects. For over a year, we’ve been a Bathroom Remodeling SF&I provider, but just recently we were able to expand into the Metal Pergola SF&I program. Altogether, we have 53 stores across southern California that we manage and service for these two programs. We feel honored and blessed to be a part of one of the largest home improvement chains in the world, and we’re excited about the opportunities these two programs will bring our way.

Today we want to take a few minutes just to explain what it takes to become a Trusted Service Provider so that you have a brief understanding of the quality we’re held accountable to and what that means for you as a customer.

What Qualifies us as a Home Depot Service Provider?

Bathroom Remodeling. A sample of a sign featured in Home Depot stores, explaining bathroom services as a service provider. There are six main criteria that The Home Depot looks for when they are investigating new service providers. First, a company has to be fully and properly licensed to perform all work associated with their respective program. As general contractors, we have everything we need to do a full bathroom remodel or build and install your new metal pergola. Our license number is #807029.

A company must also be fully insured with Workers Compensation and General Liability, as well as have a spotless record with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). American Home Remodeling has passed both of these criteria.

Fourth, a service provider must have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). We are proud to say that we’ve maintained this rating with the BBB for the entire time AHR has been in business.

Along with that, The Home Depot also wants to see a long-standing track record for total customer satisfaction. One of the main things the retail giant is always looking to improve is their customer satisfaction rating, so it makes sense that they want to partner with companies that reflect the same values they do. And it just so happens that American Home Remodeling has always taken a strong stance on customer satisfaction. In an industry where 70% of customers are dissatisfied with their home remodel, we’re in business to change that statistic one project at a time. It’s very important to us that you, the customer, are taken care of and treated with the utmost respect.
The final criteria that The Home Depot looks at is if a company maintains highly skilled and knowledgeable design and installation crews. With over 30 years of experience in the industry and over 17 years in business, we have already encountered almost every possible situation when it comes to a bathroom or pergola installation, so you can have ease of mind knowing that we know what we’re doing.

So, we’ve passed all of these inspection points, but what does that mean for you as a customer? Well, for starters, it means that not only is your project backed by our own code of ethics and business practices, but purchasing through The Home Depot means that your project is also backed by one of the largest home improvement chains in the world. You’ll have peace of mind knowing that someone is always available to help you and answer your questions.

The Home Depot has a built-in follow-up service that they call Voice of the Customer, or VOC, which they use to track customer satisfaction. Their main concern is that your project was handled properly and satisfactorily from start to finish, so if a company ever falls below a certain threshold in this survey, The Home Depot makes the decision on whether or not they’re actually a good fit for the program. Since we are continually increasing the number of stores we manage, you can be sure that we’re maintaining a strong score on this survey.

So the next time you’re in the home improvement giant, check and see if one of our Brand Ambassadors is available to discuss some of your options with bathroom remodeling or metal pergolas. You’ll be happy you did.
